ZeroCarbon analyzes your emissions data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Each insight includes the methodology used, data sources referenced, and a confidence score.

Confidence Scoring

How confidence is calculated

Confidence scores reflect the quality and completeness of underlying data. Insights based on automated, high-frequency data sources receive higher scores. Insights involving estimates or extrapolations receive lower scores.

Interpreting confidence levels

  • 90%+: High confidence - based on direct measurements
  • 75-89%: Good confidence - based on reliable data with minor gaps
  • 50-74%: Moderate confidence - includes some estimates
  • Below 50%: Low confidence - primarily estimated
